About us

Guardian Aingeals (FKA Guardian Project Inc.) came about because of one young boy's desire to make service members and veterans feel seen. While helping to pack care packages for deployed service members in 2014, he would add small stuffed animals to each box as a pick-me-up for the service member(s). After packing one box with a couple of small sock monkeys, he got a photo and a note from his soldier thanking him for his "guardian monkey."

With the start of this new adventure firmly in place, we decided to make our own non-profit to help advocate for mental health. Our next project became saving dogs from local shelters and helping them find a perfect companion to work with as a service dog or ESA. We worked with local trainers to make sure the dogs were good candidates and got the training they needed for their new tasks.

As time goes on, we hope to add more projects to our mix. From 'Guardian Parents' to 'Guardian Gaming,' and so much more, we hope to continue to expand and help as many people as possible while we advocate for Stopping the Stigma that surrounds mental health.

“You wouldn't think a stuffed animal could have such an effect, but every time I look at that little stuffed monkey, I remember I'm not alone. He reminds me that even though the world seems heavy and lonely, there are people out there that”

“The owner of Guardian Project [Aingeals] has such a big heart. I met her while I was deployed, through her previous non-profit, and knew that when I needed help finding the perfect service dog, that she would be the one to go to.”
